Τυχαίνει καμιά φορά, να προκύπτει ανάγκη να μειώσουμε το ύψος ενός δοκαριού σε υφιστάμενη κατασκευή. Εδω, σας δίνω μία ιδέα, πως μπορεί κανείς με χρήση frp's για την ενίσχυση της καμπτικής ροπής στο άνοιγμα και την προσθήκη νέων οπλισμών στην άνω παρειά, να αποκατασταθεί η αντοχή της.
Το αρχικό ύψος της δοκού ήταν 145/30 και το τελικο 70/30.



Το άνοιγμα της δοκού είναι 6,20μ. Η άνω παρειά της δοκού είναι προσβάσιμη (δώμα) ενώ το κάτω τμήμα της βρίσκεται σε διαμέρισμα. Η χρήση frp's δίνει τη μικρότερη δυνατή επέμβαση/ ταλαιπωρία (καθαίρεση σοβάδων, ενίσχυση και ξανάσοβάτισμα/βάψιμο).
